What are the symptoms of depression?

Symptoms of depression differ from person to person and most frequently appear similar in each episode. These always manifest the following:

- Loss of interest in task you used to do before.

- There is a Feeling of sadness. Strict mood swings are also one of the most significant depression symptoms.

You may also show at least four of the following indications:

- Impatience and unpredictability.

- Feeling of unimportance or guilty.

- There is an increase or decrease in desire for food or weight.

- There is an instant decision to commit suicide. Death is possibly the most significant depression symptom.

- There is a feeling of despair and doubt.

- There is a spoiled sleeping practice and irregular sleep routine.

- There is a loss of energy and determination to live.

- There is a difficulty to concentrate, identify and to decide.
