Answered By Dane Loveless, Editor

By recognizing the symptoms, you will surely escapade him/her from misfortune. The depressed person needs professional help if the person is:

- thinking of suicide

- experiencing strict mood changes

- thinking depression is connected to other problems needing professional help

- do not feel any control to manage things for him/her

- feels overwhelmed, intent, troubled, nervous, dejected, or uncontrollable

- Not able to prevent harmful behavior such as addiction

- experiencing chest pain
